Man critically injured after stabbing in Bremen
A 43-year-old man was found with life-threatening stab wounds in an apartment in Bremen-Huchting during the night into Sunday and was taken to hospital. A woman discovered the seriously injured man in the apartment of a 66-year-old neighbour after the neighbour had called her there, and she alerted emergency services. Police secured evidence in the apartment and recovered a knife as a possible weapon. The 66-year-old was provisionally detained and was due to be brought before a remand judge. Police and prosecutors are investigating a suspected attempted homicide.
