Man provisionally detained after knife robbery at Bremen pet store
A man robbed a pet store in Bremen-Vegesack on Friday evening. Police said he threatened an employee at the till with a knife and removed banknotes from the open cash register. When the employee's husband blocked the exit, the offender stabbed through the door with the knife and slightly injured him. Outside the store, the attacker repeatedly hit the man in the face and allegedly tried again to stab him with the knife. A suspect was provisionally detained close to the scene, and police are examining whether he was responsible for the robbery.
