Man threatens partner and his mother with kitchen knives
A 26-year-old man allegedly threatened his partner and the partner's mother with kitchen knives at a flat on Christinenstraße in Brandenburg an der Havel on 4 August. According to police, he damaged items in the flat during a psychological crisis after allegedly using drugs. Police issued an exclusion order and return ban. When he did not comply, officers took him into custody. On the way there, he allegedly damaged a device in the patrol car and spat at officers; no emergency personnel were injured. The man sustained minor injuries and was taken to a specialist clinic following a doctor's decision. Police are investigating, including on suspicion of making threats and resisting enforcement officers.
