Man threatens five young men near school centre in Böblingen
Five young men fled towards a school building in Böblingen at around 1:40 p.m. on 15 October 2026 after seeing a 44-year-old man apparently make stabbing motions with a knife. He had earlier shouted after and insulted them near the commercial school centre. He pursued the group briefly but stopped before reaching the schoolyard. Police later found him near Alba Bridge and seized a knife during a search. A breath test indicated about 1.6 per mille of alcohol; he was taken to a psychiatric facility because officers suspected he might be experiencing a mental health crisis. The investigation is continuing.
