Man threatens passenger and bus driver with knife in Blomberg
A man allegedly threatened a 21-year-old passenger and the 51-year-old bus driver with a knife on a bus on Winterbergstraße in Blomberg on the evening of 24 June. The driver then stopped the service and left the bus with the passenger. The man allegedly tried to drive the bus from the driver's seat and damaged seat upholstery. When police arrived, he put down the knife after being instructed to do so and walked away. Following the deployment of a police dog, the 36-year-old was slightly injured and taken to hospital by emergency services; criminal police inquiries are continuing.
