Man threatens companion with knife during Bielefeld robbery
A 36-year-old man is alleged to have threatened his 42-year-old companion with a knife and pulled several banknotes from her hands on Wednesday evening, 14 January, at the junction of Bahnhofstraße and Herbert-Hinnendahl-Straße in Bielefeld. During a struggle, the woman managed to recover part of the money. Federal police patrol officers noticed the confrontation, separated those involved and handed the man and a knife found in his jacket pocket to police. Police seized the knife and the recovered proceeds, provisionally arrested the man and brought him before a judge, who ordered pre-trial detention.
