Man seriously injured after attack in Bevern
A man was seriously injured at his home in Bevern during the night of 13 January. Police said two suspects related to him are alleged to have entered the flat and surprised him while he was asleep at about 00:55. They are alleged to have struck him with a blunt object and injured him by stabbing with a pointed object. The man called emergency services himself and was taken to hospital for treatment. The two suspects fled and an initial search was unsuccessful. Investigators are treating the case as attempted homicide.
