Man undergoes emergency surgery after stabbing during group dispute in Berlin
A 29-year-old man needed emergency surgery after being stabbed in the torso. On the evening of October 10, two groups met on Egon-Erwin-Kisch-Straße in Berlin-Neu-Hohenschönhausen to settle an earlier dispute. A teenage girl from one group allegedly left briefly and returned with an unidentified man, who approached the 29-year-old in the other group and stabbed him repeatedly. Another teenage girl allegedly sprayed members of that group with pepper spray; a teenage girl suffered eye irritation and declined treatment. The suspects left without being identified, while emergency responders took the man to hospital. A specialist police unit is investigating.
