Man displays knife during dispute outside Augsburg bar
Two men became involved in a dispute with other guests outside a bar on Jakoberstraße in Augsburg on 10 October 2026 at around 2:15 a.m. While the 37-year-old made verbal threats, the 38-year-old drew and displayed a knife, prompting the others to move to safety. The 38-year-old initially fled but was later stopped by officers and resisted arrest. Two police officers sustained minor injuries during the arrest, and the knife was recovered. Police are investigating both men over allegations including threats and dangerous bodily harm, as well as weapons and narcotics offences and resisting officers. No injury caused by the knife was reported.
