Three men suffer stab and cut injuries after dispute in Berlin-Moabit

Three men were found with stab injuries and, in some cases, substantial cuts after a confrontation between two groups near a park on Ottostraße in Berlin-Moabit. A resident saw the dispute, later heard cries of pain and alerted police at about 1:40 a.m.; he said several unidentified men fled. The 28-year-old had superficial stab wounds near his groin, the 33-year-old had several stab wounds to his legs and abdomen, and the 26-year-old had a serious abdominal stab wound. Police provided initial care before emergency crews took the men to hospitals. Two required emergency surgery and remain hospitalized; according to the latest information, none of the three is still in danger of dying. Police are investigating the circumstances and the unidentified perpetrators; no specific weapon was identified.
