Man arrested with utility knife after dispute in Berlin
A dispute followed a traffic accident on Klara-Weyl-Straße in Berlin-Lichtenberg on 1 July. The 44-year-old father of a child who had previously been pushed held a utility knife with its blade extended and approached the 26-year-old driver. Because police considered a knife attack imminent, an officer drew his service weapon and ordered the man to drop the utility knife. The man complied, was arrested, and the knife was seized. He is being investigated, among other matters, on suspicion of making threats with weapons.
