Worker injured with knife during robbery in Berlin-Spandau

A 19-year-old employee of a late-night shop in Berlin-Spandau was injured during a robbery. According to initial findings, a masked person attacked him as he was about to leave the shop through a rear entrance at around 2:15 a.m.

The employee resisted. The offender is alleged to have cut his thigh with a knife and then demanded cash from both the shop and the employee. The unidentified suspect fled with the money. Emergency personnel took the injured man to hospital for outpatient treatment, and a specialist police unit is investigating.
