Man arrested after fatal knife attack in Berlin

A 25-year-old managing director died in a suspected homicide at company premises in Berlin-Gesundbrunnen. According to police and prosecutors, he was with two male relatives on the evening of 16 April when an arranged meeting with a 34-year-old employee and the employee's 37-year-old brother developed into an argument. The 37-year-old is alleged to have fatally stabbed the managing director with a knife.

The suspect then fled by car with his brother and a woman. Police arrested both men shortly afterwards. Both had injuries, received outpatient treatment at a hospital, and the 37-year-old was subsequently taken into police custody. The homicide squad and public prosecutors are investigating.
