Employee injured in robbery at Berlin kiosk
A 44-year-old employee was injured during a robbery at a kiosk on Mehrower Allee in Berlin-Marzahn on Saturday. According to current findings, three unknown men entered the shop at about 7 p.m. and demanded money. Two of them are alleged to have attacked the employee with blunt objects and a sharp object, while another stood at the entrance; a fourth suspected accomplice apparently watched the surroundings. The 44-year-old escaped from the shop and received outpatient treatment at the scene for injuries to both forearms and his neck. As the cash register could not be opened, the alleged offenders took tobacco products and fled. A specialist police unit is investigating.
