Security worker injured at Berlin accommodation facility

A 26-year-old resident of an accommodation facility for refugees in Berlin-Buch is alleged to have attacked a security worker on 23 February and caused a stab injury. According to the current findings, the resident had previously asked the worker for a cigarette in the facility's rear courtyard on Lindenberger Weg. After the worker refused, the alleged attack occurred. The injured worker received inpatient hospital treatment, and police said there was no danger to life. The suspect fled towards Buch S-Bahn station, and criminal police are investigating.
