19-year-old injured with knife in attempted robbery in Köpenick
Two as-yet unknown men allegedly demanded valuables from a 19-year-old at the Filehner Straße bus stop in Berlin-Köpenick on Friday evening. When he refused, one of the men attacked him with a knife, police said. The 19-year-old sustained injuries to his abdomen and chest and fled to his nearby home despite those injuries. Friends who were there called emergency services. He was admitted to hospital for inpatient treatment and underwent surgery; a specialist police unit is continuing the investigation.
