A 45-year-old man allegedly threatened two security employees with a knife and a spade at business premises on Teltowkanalstraße in Berlin-Lichterfelde on 6 August. According to police, the man had entered the premises without authorization and was discovered by the employees at about 8 p.m. During a subsequent confrontation, a 53-year-old security employee was hit on the head with the spade. He took the spade and a pocketknife from the suspect and later sought outpatient medical treatment. The man initially fled within the premises, later threatened responding officers with an iron bar and allegedly said he would shoot them. Special forces arrested him after a conducted-energy device was used.
