Two people injured with knife in Berlin family dispute

A 40-year-old woman allegedly injured her 41-year-old sister and the sister's 21-year-old son with a knife during a renewed family dispute in Berlin-Reinickendorf on 21 July. Both were admitted to hospital with stab wounds to the upper body and were not in life-threatening condition. Earlier, the 37-year-old and 40-year-old sisters allegedly attacked the 41-year-old woman during an argument and pulled her to the ground. The 41-year-old later went with her son and her 42-year-old husband to their father's flat, where the dispute resumed. The suspect was arrested at the scene and later released after police procedures; a specialist unit is continuing the investigation.
