35-year-old injured with knife in Berlin park
A 35-year-old man was injured with a knife in Berlin's Gesundbrunnen district during the night of 20 July. Police said he had been walking through Volkspark Humboldthain with several friends at about 10:50 p.m. when they encountered another group of around seven men who reportedly carried baseball bats and pepper spray. As his group fled, the men allegedly followed the 35-year-old and inflicted several stab wounds to his lower back. Emergency services took him to hospital for outpatient treatment. The attackers fled unidentified, and police are investigating suspected dangerous bodily harm.
