Armed robbery at late-night shop in Berlin-Hellersdorf

Two unidentified men allegedly robbed a late-night shop at Cottbusser Platz in Berlin-Hellersdorf on 18 May. One of them reportedly threatened the 57-year-old owner with a knife and demanded money. When the owner resisted, a physical confrontation followed, according to police, and he suffered a head laceration. The men allegedly took cigarettes and cash before fleeing with the proceeds. The injured man received outpatient hospital treatment, and investigators are continuing to examine the robbery.
