Man injured with knife in attempted robbery at Berlin park

A 34-year-old man required inpatient treatment after an alleged attempted robbery in Neu-Hohenschönhausen. According to initial findings, two unknown suspects threatened him with a knife while demanding valuables in the park on Rüdickenstraße on the evening of 25 April. When he tried to run away, one of the suspects allegedly injured his thigh and hand with the knife. The two fled without any loot, and emergency personnel took the man to hospital with cut injuries. A specialist unit of Police Directorate 3 (East) is investigating.
