A 23-year-old allegedly stabbed a 36-year-old in the back with a broken bottle in Berlin's Friedrichshain district during the night before 24 April. Passers-by said they witnessed the attack at about 11 p.m. outside a kiosk on Neue Bahnhofstraße, where the victim had been sitting. The alleged attacker then fled. Two colleagues gave first aid until emergency personnel arrived, and the injured man was subsequently taken to hospital for inpatient treatment.
