Man injured in knife attack at Berlin venue

A 26-year-old man and a 37-year-old man initially became involved in a verbal dispute at a venue on Bahnhofstraße in Berlin-Köpenick early on 2 February. Investigators say the younger man allegedly pulled a knife during the confrontation and attacked the older man. The 37-year-old sustained a cut to his arm and was taken to hospital for inpatient treatment. The known suspected attacker fled, and a specialist police unit is continuing the investigation.
