Tourist injured in attempted robbery in Berlin
In Berlin's Baumschulenweg district, an unidentified man is alleged to have attacked a 23-year-old tourist during an attempted robbery. The man allegedly approached the tourist on Baumschulenstraße, demanded money and threatened him with a pointed object. When he stabbed toward the tourist with the object, the tourist defended himself with his hands and escaped. He was taken to hospital with cuts and left again shortly afterwards. A specialist unit of Police Directorate 3 is investigating.
