Man injured with utility knife during dispute in Beckum
A 36-year-old man was injured in the head with a utility knife during an altercation on Hauptstraße in Beckum-Neubeckum. According to police, he had previously followed a 23-year-old woman he knew. When a 24-year-old man known to her intervened, a physical confrontation developed in which the 36-year-old was allegedly injured. Emergency services took him to hospital, which he has since left. The 24-year-old was initially detained and released after consultation with the public prosecutor's office.
