Driver injured with knife after vehicles' mirrors collide in Kressbronn
A 52-year-old driver sustained a minor injury in an alleged knife attack on the K 7709 in Kressbronn on Wednesday, 23 September 2026. At around 4:30 p.m., the mirrors of two oncoming cars had collided. The other driver initially continued driving but returned while the woman was looking for her broken mirror. According to the preliminary findings, the 23-year-old man pushed her to the ground and injured her with a knife. He then stopped attacking her and gave first aid; she went to hospital for treatment. Officers arrested him without resistance at his home shortly afterwards. He was taken to a specialist clinic because of his psychological condition, and police in Tettnang are investigating suspected aggravated assault.
