Man threatens woman with knife in Wertheim
A man allegedly threatened a woman with a knife in her flat in Wertheim-Bestenheid early on Monday evening. The woman was able to leave the flat and reach safety; nobody was injured. Police called in a special police unit because the man was suspected of being armed. Officers detained the suspect in the flat's hallway at about 12:30 a.m. Police said he appeared to be in a psychological crisis and was subsequently taken to a psychiatric clinic.
