Man allegedly stabs clinic patient in Ellwangen
A 33-year-old man allegedly stabbed a 45-year-old fellow patient multiple times with a knife on Sunday evening at the psychiatric clinic in the Virngrundklinik building in Ellwangen. The victim, who suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries, escaped into the clinic building. After fleeing, the suspect turned himself in at a police station in Aalen on Monday morning and was provisionally detained. Prosecutors applied for a detention order, and the investigation is ongoing.
