Man injured in the face with knife during dispute in Tostedt
A man was lightly injured in the face with a knife during a dispute at accommodation for refugees on Am Helferichheim street in Tostedt. The conflict between a 31-year-old man and a 34-year-old man escalated at about 07:30 on Sunday: one struck his fellow resident's head against a windowpane, after which the other injured him with the knife. Both men had breath alcohol readings above two per mille, and proceedings for dangerous bodily harm were opened against them. An ambulance and a police vehicle collided while travelling to the incident. Nobody was injured in that crash, but neither vehicle remained roadworthy.
