Man injures roommate with knife in Bad Sooden-Allendorf
During an altercation at an apartment building in Bad Sooden-Allendorf on 24 August, a 36-year-old man is alleged to have attacked a 58-year-old roommate. Police said he first tried unsuccessfully to strike the man with a hammer. He then inflicted minor cuts to the victim's face and hand with a knife. The injured man fled the building and was taken to hospital for examination and treatment. The suspect was provisionally detained and, on prosecutors' orders, transferred to a psychiatric centre.
