Man threatens father with knife in Bad Salzuflen
On 19 June, a 38-year-old man became involved in an altercation at the Werre riverbank near Meerbrede in Bad Salzuflen. Police said he allegedly lightly injured a child and threatened the child's father with a knife. He initially left the scene. When he returned about an hour later, another confrontation took place in which at least three people allegedly seriously injured him with an iron bar. The three suspects who were provisionally detained were later released, and the investigation is being conducted as dangerous bodily harm.
