Attempted knife extortion in Bad Salzdetfurth
A minor was allegedly threatened with a knife on a connecting path between Griesbergstraße and Bodenburger Straße in Bad Salzdetfurth at about 17:50 on 2 May 2025. A man is said to have separated him from his companion, drawn a knife and demanded an e-cigarette. The alleged offender reportedly fled after the minor called for help and another minor intervened. Nothing was taken and the targeted minor was not injured. A police search was unsuccessful, and investigators opened proceedings for attempted aggravated extortion.
