Man seriously injured in knife stabbing in Bad Pyrmont

A 36-year-old man was injured with a knife in a car park on Hauptmann-Boelcke-Weg in Bad Pyrmont at around 17:50 on 23 December. Police said he had been waiting there for an acquaintance when two unidentified people attacked him with pepper spray. When he resisted, one of the attackers allegedly took a knife and stabbed him. The victim called emergency services himself and underwent surgery in hospital; police said he was never in life-threatening danger. The two suspects fled, and a search for them was unsuccessful.
