Man stabs toward teenager with utility knife
At about 6:30 p.m. on 30 May, a dispute between teenagers occurred near Roßstraße and Kornmarkt square in Bad Kreuznach. A 20-year-old suspect pulled a utility knife and stabbed toward a teenager but did not hit him. He is also alleged to have struck the teenager with a shoulder bag, causing minor injuries. Police separated those involved, seized the knife and arranged for a blood sample to be taken from the suspect. During the operation, an uninvolved passer-by fell from a wall into the Nahe river. Officers and another passer-by rescued him, and he was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
