Man injured in face with utility knife in Bad Kreuznach
A 19-year-old man was injured in the face with a utility knife during an altercation involving several men at Europaplatz in Bad Kreuznach on 9 March. At about 21:45, he approached police officers in Wilhelmstraße; the injury to his cheek was described as minor. During the investigation, the suspected attacker appeared and identified himself. Officers seized a knife from the 23-year-old man. Police said that a 40-year-old man was also threatened with a knife during the altercation. An arrest warrant was outstanding against the 23-year-old, who was taken to prison.
