Man arrested after knife threat in Bad Kreuznach

A 47-year-old man is alleged to have threatened a man from a group with a knife in Bad Kreuznach's pedestrian zone on 13 May, following an argument with a female friend. The group had previously tried to calm the dispute. The suspect initially left and later returned to confront one of the men, holding a knife in a threatening manner.

The three men restrained the suspect with the aid of pepper spray and handed him to police. Police reported that nobody was injured. The man was taken into custody after a blood sample was taken and provisionally arrested; he was due to be brought before a judge.
