Man allegedly pulled knife during altercation in Alzey
After a reported fight on Antoniterstraße in Alzey, police found a 32-year-old man with superficial facial injuries. According to an alternative account, he allegedly pulled a knife after a verbal dispute, threatened other people and thereby triggered the physical confrontation. Several people are said to have then struck him, and a 28-year-old was identified as a suspected attacker. The injured man was taken to hospital for further examination after initial treatment. Police said accounts of the sequence differ and the investigation is continuing.
