Man threatens pursuer in Bad Dürrheim with multitool
In Bad Dürrheim, a 29-year-old man verbally threatened a 40-year-old man who was following him on Saturday lunchtime and displayed an unfolded multitool. The witness had previously seen him apparently trying to open a parked car in Friedrichstraße and called the police. When officers stopped the man in Luisenstraße, he resisted and struck a 23-year-old police officer in the head with his elbow. The officer was injured during the subsequent arrest and treated at a clinic; the suspect was lightly injured, provisionally detained and later released. Nothing was stolen from the car.
