Woman attacks police officers with kitchen knife in Backnang
A 36-year-old woman ran toward police officers in Backnang early Saturday while carrying a long kitchen knife and making stabbing motions. The patrol encountered her at about 05:15 on Am Koppenberg street. After officers threatened to use their firearm, she dropped the knife. She was taken into custody, brought to a specialist clinic and, according to police, faces a report.
