Machete attack misses target in Arnstadt
During an altercation involving several people on Sodenstraße in Arnstadt, a 24-year-old man allegedly launched an unprovoked attack on a 21-year-old with a machete. The 21-year-old was not hit and was uninjured. Police said he then struck the attacker and caused minor injuries. A 27-year-old woman was also hit by an unidentified man during the incident; he left before police arrived. The machete was seized, and investigators are examining the background and exact sequence of events.
