Woman critically injured with pointed object in Altötting
A 52-year-old woman was potentially critically injured with a pointed object during an altercation with her 66-year-old partner in an apartment building in Altötting. The man was also injured; police said that, after an argument, the two had inflicted partly serious injuries on each other. He was provisionally detained before being placed in medical care because of his injuries. Both underwent surgery and were subsequently in stable condition. Criminal police are investigating on suspicion of attempted homicide under the direction of the public prosecutor's office, while the exact sequence of events remains unclear.
