Man remanded in custody after knife attack in Zweibrücken
Police are investigating a 51-year-old man on suspicion of attempted homicide in Zweibrücken. He is alleged to have seriously injured a 40-year-old man with a knife on 1 March in Poststraße, causing several cuts to the victim's neck and head. According to current findings, the 40-year-old fought back and injured the suspect. Both men were treated in hospital, and the 40-year-old remains an inpatient. An investigating judge ordered the 51-year-old into pre-trial detention. Investigations into the incident and its motive are continuing.
