Woman holds knife after shoplifting in Wurmberg
A 33-year-old woman is suspected of stealing several bottles of alcohol from a grocery store on Wiernsheimer Straße in Wurmberg on 4 February. After being confronted at the checkout, she ran away. An employee caught up with her a few metres later and told her to stop. The woman was holding a knife, allegedly to enable her to continue fleeing. The situation later calmed down, the stolen goods were handed over and the woman was provisionally detained. The employee was not injured, and the woman was released after police measures were completed.
