Two men injured after confrontation in Wuppertal
Two men were injured during a confrontation at Berliner Platz in Wuppertal on 14 June. The incident followed a verbal dispute between two groups in a café on Berliner Straße that moved to the square outside the station. Both men sustained bleeding injuries and were taken to hospital. Police said a knife and a broken bottle may have been used. The group fled, and a 25-year-old man was later provisionally detained.
