Man remanded in custody after stabbing during family dispute in Wuppertal
A 47-year-old man was seriously injured on 3 March during an altercation linked to a family dispute on Greifswalder Straße in Wuppertal. According to the current findings, a 57-year-old man and his two sons, aged 27 and 28, are alleged to have attacked him with punches and kicks. The 57-year-old is also accused of inflicting several knife wounds to the victim's thigh. Emergency responders treated the injured man at the scene before he received hospital care. At the prosecutor's request, a judge ordered pre-trial detention for the 57-year-old suspect on suspicion of attempted manslaughter in conjunction with dangerous bodily harm.
