Man seriously injured in altercation in Wuppertal
A 23-year-old man suffered serious injuries during an altercation in Wuppertal early on 27 February. He was found bleeding heavily near the Oberbarmen Bahnhof suspension railway stop and was taken to hospital after receiving initial treatment; police said he was not believed to be in life-threatening danger. Initial findings indicate that three unidentified people attacked him near Berliner Straße and Hügelstraße. Pepper spray and a knife were reportedly used. The suspects had not initially been found.
