Senior woman threatened with knife during robbery in Wuppertal
A 76-year-old senior woman was robbed in Wuppertal on 31 October 2025 after visiting a bank. She was walking along Friedrich-Engels-Allee toward Alter Markt when three men allegedly attacked her bag. As she tried to hold on to it, she fell; the offenders are alleged to have kicked her and fled with the bag. They reportedly threatened to kill her if she contacted police, and one man allegedly displayed a knife to reinforce the threat. The woman sustained several injuries and reported the crime only later.
