Man attacks employee with knife after shoplifting in Worms
A man who has not yet been identified is alleged to have attacked an employee at a discount store on Wilhelm-Leuschner-Straße in Worms on 13 February after shoplifting. Staff had confronted him at the checkout and were to accompany him to an office. According to the investigation so far, he pulled a knife in the entrance area and made several stabbing motions toward the store manager. The employee was not injured. The suspect fled the store and the initial search was unsuccessful. Criminal police are investigating.
