Armed robbery at fast-food restaurant near Wolfhagen
Two men robbed a fast-food restaurant in Wolfhagen-Niederelsungen at about 1:55 a.m. on 28 December. According to police, both carried knives and forced five employees still present to open the till while displaying the weapons. Cash was placed in a cloth bag before the offenders left the restaurant on foot in an unknown direction. The value of the stolen cash was initially unknown. Nobody was injured; one employee suffered shock but required no further medical treatment. An initial search did not lead to arrests, and criminal investigators are handling the case.
