Woman injured in knife attack in Wolfenbüttel
A 57-year-old woman was injured on 12 December on a connecting path between Mancinusweg and Halchtersche Straße in Wolfenbüttel. She was walking her dog when she encountered a middle-aged cyclist. He allegedly stabbed her in the thigh with a knife; the woman only noticed the cut shortly afterwards and alerted police. The unidentified suspect fled by bicycle. Police are asking for information about conspicuous cyclists seen near the scene.
